Nice thing to do for trailer park residents.

Being forced from one’s home will always be a hardship. But Cienda Partners, operator of a mobile home park along Commerce Street in West Dallas, deserves credit for easing the way for park tenants who must leave because of a pending sale of the property. Cienda has given tenants until Jan. 31 to move and has offered $2,000 in assistance, an offer the company didn’t have to make. The redevelopment plans for the area have been known for years, and it’s always been clear that the trailers would eventually have to move. That doesn’t make it any easier for the people moving, but at least Cienda has made a good-faith overture.
